I just wanted to write you a quick thank you for the wonderful work you guy did this weekend for my wife and my baby shower. Just about everybody asked us where the food was from, and we were proud to tell them all about you guys. This is our second catering experience that my wife and I have had with Local Smoke, and would never hesitate to recommend you to anybody asking. For both experiences, from beginning to end, we have had nothing but positive things to say. Thank you so much, again, for contributing to our wonderful weekend!

We had Local Smoke in Cookstown cater a family BBQ. We got ribs, brisket, and pulled chicken ..... all of them were OUTSTANDING! We also got BBQ baked beans, green beans, and potato salad. Every one of of guests commented about how good all of the meats were and many said it was the BEST potato salad they had ever had. They delivered everything and set up so we didn't have to do a thing ..... just as we wanted. We will DEFINITELY use them again!

I hired Local Smoke BBQ to cater our daughter's wedding August 2016. We held the event outdoors at a historic farm site in Princeton, NJ for 150 guests. Loren and Steve were a pleasure to work with both during the planning and execution. While I did not get to enjoy the cocktail hour, since we were having pictures taken, I received rave reviews from the guests on the passed hors d'oeuvres (Jalapeno Poppers, Grilled Chicken Skewers and Grilled Shrimp). I made a point of getting a sample of each of the entrees (beef brisket, pulled pork, chicken and Portobello Mushrooms) and sides (Mixed Greens Salad, Mac n Cheese and Grilled Vegetables). Everything was delicious. They even took care of setting up some of the dessert items that I had made/brought in addition to what they provided. Their serving staff did an outstanding job replenishing the drink dispensers and cleaning up along the way. They achieved everything that I had hoped for and I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a large event.

I just wanted to take a second and thank you 1,000 times over and over. Our party went off without a hitch, and Local Smoke was a massive part of this! Everybody was blown away with the smoker, and everybody is still RAVING about the food!!!!!! The brisket was a hands down favorite, but we received compliments on everything! Your staff - Ali and the two Jarod's were phenomenal, friendly, accommodating, professional and just flat out AMAZING. Anything that we asked of them was never a problem. We must have asked them to move the car a dozen times and Ali did it with a smile on her face, every single time. I'm pretty sure Jarod had company most of the time by the smoker and answered a billion questions from our guests and did it with a smile on his face. I can tell you how many compliments Jen and I got about the food, and asked where it was from - we were so proud to tell them Local Smoke.

You guys, from beginning to end were fabulous, and we can't wait to recommend you guys again!!!!

This is our second time having Local Smoke cater and it is now a classic hit. I think all of our family and friends expect a Local Smoke BBQ EVERY summer from now on, as it is absolutely delicious. I’ve been meaning to write you, but the time has gotten away from me. I just wanted to send a note to thank you for the wonderful job you folks did on my dad’s party. Steve was awesome to deal with – and very accommodating. The food was great. We had a lot of people comment on it, and a few asked for your info. My mother-in-law has already decided that she wants to use your services for her retirement party. The guys who came to set-up the party were fantastic. They were there early, had everything set-up and waiting, and waited for us to open the buffet line (they even worked around our appetizers). During the party, they were clearing plates for our guests and helping in any way possible – they kept saying “Let me do that. You enjoy your party.” The one who stayed for the whole party even helped us serve cake and ice cream. Your guys were the epitome of good customer service (and kindness). I thank you. My mom thanks you and my father as well. It was an awesome job and it really helped put our party over the top! We will be calling you again.

Saturday's party was a HUGE success! Everyone is still talking about how delicious EVERYTHING was up until and including today! The macaroni and cheese was totally gone not 1 noodle left as well as the pulled pork, delicious! Your sauces are to die for & we are already craving more, haha. We had very little leftovers to take home, and as of today they are also gone. My boyfriend and I as well as another couple plan on taking a trip down to your location to enjoy again very soon. Loren was beyond helpful, friendly and prompt with everything from way back when I booked with Local Smoke. Matt was also amazing with his setting up of the party and making sure everything was perfect before he left. What an amazing team & business you have! Local Smoke was recommended to me & I have already recommended and passed on your info to people who were at and not at our party. I can not THANK YOU enough for everything! Your BBQ was a fantastic hit and everyone that was not here last night came over today and had to try it, and those that were here last night came back for seconds and even took some home!! As someone who has in recent years become a huge fan of BBQ, and attended numerous competitions over that time, I can state unequivocally: The Fat Angel Competitive Barbecue Team cooks up the best smoked food I’ve ever had. The standouts for me are the brisket, ribs, as well as the “time consuming…Slow-Smoked Jalapeño Poppers! Those are a must have item. I travel all around the country, and have since tried many different types of BBQ at many locations, and many well established restaurants do not compare. The only fault I find with Fat Angel is they’ve raised the Bar-B-Cue-Bar so high, my expectations of what BBQ should be have risen as well. Unfortunately, few others seem to meet the challenge, which leaves me wanting more of their food.
